Kwila Merbau Timber

We offer a wide range of Vernacularly named Kwila and Merbau. This wood is used for house construction purposes like making doors, frames, windows, window frames, Staircases, floors, paneling, cupboards and fittings. It is usually yellowish to orange-brownin color but turns brown or red brown on exposure when freshly cut. Our merbau has excellent wood working properties like giving smooth machined surface. This wood has property of easy gluing very low shrinkage when drying.

Appearence: Kwila Merbau is also has wood working properties giving smooth machined surface. It takes finishes readily and its easy to glue. It has very low shrinkage when drying.
